Great little keyboard.

I’ve had this Samsung Bluetooth keyboard for a few weeks and I really like it. It doesn’t seem to exhibit any of the issues that are sited in other reviews. This keyboard has a great feel, is easy to type on and seems to be built extremely well.

A solid, but expensive wireless keyboard

I bought the Samsung Series 7 tablet and wanted to complete the package by getting both the docking station and the keyboard. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase. They keyboard is very lightweight and designed for easy traveling. It’s just small enough to fit easily in your backpack. It’s set up was simple. The keys have a great feel to them, they remind me of my mac keyboard. There are 2 reasons that I only gave it four stars. First, there were a few times where keystrokes were missed, but that was usually during power up so I chalk that up to the keyboard registering with the system. In general it’s very responsive. Second, it’s pretty expensive. If the price point was a little lower I would easily recommend this to everyone.

It’s a Great Keyboard

I’ve been using my new Samsung keyboard for a few days for everything from document typing, to developing in Visual Studio and Dreamweaver. It’s a small keyboard, as wide as the Slate, which is perfect for portability; however, it’s size doesn’t make it a challenge to type anything and I can type really quickly on it without making grammatical mistakes or clicking on wrong keys (if there’s grammatical errors in this review, please don’t blame the keyboard).

I agree with other reviewers, it surly would have been nice for Samsung to include a little case, or even a pouch for this keyboard – maybe even if they sold one separately it be great, but they don’t.

Aside from no carrying pouch, the only other thing Samsung could have done would have been to either include a power button, or some capability that would power the keyboard on/off as soon as the slate is powered on/off. I’ve noticed that without a carrying pouch, if I stick the keyboard into my backpack, if a book touches the keys, the keyboard will stay on for the whole trip; but thankfully the battery life seems to be good. Considering nothing rubs or pushes on the keys, the keyboard does power off quickly.

Many also seem to complain about how annoying it is that the keyboard seems to turn off, and to wake it back up a key needs to be pressed, often resulting in the first letter of a sentence not appearing. I’m ok with this, and got used to it quickly. It’s just a matter of typing the letter twice, once to power it on, and again to actually input the letter – or at times, I’ll just press the Shift key prior to typing anything.

Overall, I really do like how portable and compact this keyboard is.

I love it

The size is perfect and it works great with my Samsung Slate 7, no problem with the bluetooth connetion. The batteries last long enough. It lacks a case tough.
