Works great, follow the instructions

Greatly reduces the glare on the screen, making it easier to use my Asus slate at work with the overhead lights. It also doesn’t collect fingerprints like the shiny screen does.

Like most screen protectors, it can be a bit of a pain to apply and get all of the bubbles out, especially if you let dust get on the sticky side. But once its on it looks great. Follow the instructions and have patience. Also, its not permanent so if you mess up you can pull it off and start over.

The only problem is that the home button hole is a small circle instead of a large half circle. The good news is that its just the right size and in the right place so once you trim it everything works out perfectly. Be sure to use a really sharp knife or razor, though. (And obviously cut it before you apply it to the tablet ;) )

I did shoot them an email with the correct size and shape of the hole so hopefully they will fix it in future versions so you won’t have to trim it yourself.

Overall a great product, with a few minor detractors

The screen protector came in a bubble pack mailer, attached to stiff cardboard to prevent it from getting bent in transit. It was in excellent shape – no bends, kinks, or scratches. The included installation instructions were concise, but abundantly clear if you’ve ever put a self-adhering (no liquid goo) screen protector on other device screens. The neat hint to use a rolled-up bit of scotch tape to get any bits of dust off the underside during installation was a major time-saver!

The protector was cut correctly to fit the EP121 screen – both around the home button and the video camera. It was slightly smaller, about 2 mm, in overall dimensions relative to the total glass surface inside the metal edge of the computer, but that will not in any way affect the protection as the edges of the usable screen are significantly smaller than that.

Installation took about 20 minutes. I went slowly and carefully, making use there were no dust specks as the protector fused to the screen and getting rid of any bubbles caused by dust, lint, etc. as I went along. Patience and a steady hand, plus a brightly lit and clean work space are the keys to a good, successful installation.

This protector is stiff. I have used the stylus on it a lot, and with significant pressure, trying to intentionally “dent” it as was mentioned in other reviews, but I have been unable to mar it.

Major pros: Easy to install, stiff, cuts down glare from reflected light A LOT!

Major Cons: Cuts down touch sensitivity significantly (by that I mean enough to be constantly aware that the screen is less sensitive to touch than it was when it was bare, but not to the point that it impairs my ability to use the touch screen.) The light-scattering function of the anti-glare coating also decreases light transmission through the protector, making the tablet slightly less sunlight-readable.

Overall, this protector was exactly what I was looking for. Cheap (in case I didn’t like it), easy to install, stiff, and a better-than average anti-glare filter.

I don’t know why this is only rated at 3 stars

Just recieved my screen protectors today, and I must say I am very happy with them. I’ve seen complaints about there not being a die cut out for the home button, but I’m happy to say that they have listened and have cut out a slot for this. I don’t write many reviews but I thought because of this, they deserve a shout out. Nothing better than a company that listens. Awesome stuff.
All of this is wonderfull and everything, but what of the product itself? The presentation isn’t anything to write home about. It came sandwiched in between two pieces of cardboard that looked like a five year old had cut out. None the less, the sleaves did arrive in perfect condition and after putting it on, well, I can say with confidence that this is a quality product. Perfect thickness that doesn’t take away from the pens sensativity. I bought the ASUS EP121 mainly as an artist tool. The thing with these tablets is that the glass surface is not fun to draw on. If you are an artist and you have this tablet or any PC tablet for that matter. I would highly recommend buying one of these matted protectors from this company. The sleaves work really well, arrived in good time and in perfect condition. Oh and, super affordable! Most likely because they don’t have to worry about packaging. If they keep up with this competative pricing and great quality. I would never hessitate to purchase another product from Posrus.
