Great Product

I already have the 4 GB version and just ordered the 8 GB version. I purchased the 4 GB version about 3 years ago and it’s always done me well. It’s pretty sturdy and nice looking, although I wish it came in different colors, but for the most part it’s great. I like the SwissCard style pen and pad too. Nice to have a pen and scratch paper in my wallet at all times.

Now I just need more space on the flash drive so I’m buying another one. 8 gigs this time. It’s just too bad the card that holds the flashdrive doesn’t have about 2 or 3 more slots to carry another flashdrive, then I’d be able to have 12 GB in one card with the one I already have. Hope LaCie decides to design something like this. I would buy it immediately.

great product, practical and really useful, note pad though is way tiny but its great for when your in a rush and need to take some notes ASAP, but above all its convenient having 8-16 GB’s in such a tiny package

To get an idea for the thickness of the black plastic card, it’s about the width of three credit cards stacked. I’ll probably never use the little notepad and pen; I bought it because I was tired of flash drives hanging from my key chain breaking off.

The drive comes formatted FAT32 and works just about as you’d expect. My 5-year-old Macbook has trouble reading it unless I apply pressure on it while it’s plugged into the USB port, but I think that’s a function of my old laptop just having an old, sloppy port. It works fine on the two other machines that I use frequently.
