Great tablet computer! HP continues to make the best computers!
HP Slate 2 is a great buy for anyone who actually wants to do more with a computer than download 1-2 MB little programs that really dont do a whole lot. Fully functional web browser, Windows 7 power plus the hardware of Hewlett Packard make this a much better buy than Androids, Dell, Apples and Lenovos. Good battery life, beautiful crisp screen and easy to use! Recommended product to anyone who wants portability beyond a trendy/fad type computer.
Excellent PC
I purchased this PC specifically for a recent trip to Europe instead of lugging around my 17″ Laptop.
This little PC can do everything my laptop and desktop can do which most importantly allows me to monitor my clients IT situations continuously. I read most of the reviews and watched several videos before purchasing and the only problem I had was battery life of around 6 hours but recharging was fast and I was able to use it while recharging. I did read several issues with viewing the screen but in most cases they were referring to a side view angle and I personally look straight on at my computer screens my wife however, sitting next to me on the plane could easily read my screen from a “side” view.
If you are going to do any amount of typing I recommend the HP keyboard case, the keyboard is very comfortable with great key placement as well as key size this case is perfect for the Slate 2.
The Slate 2 has a sturdy build little heavier than I-pad and has a little smaller screen. For my “business” purposes it is a perfet little companion for me.
NOTE: I do not play computer games, so if you do, I have no opinion concerning the performance of this machine for the playing of games.
I highly recommend it for the business traveller.
