Customer Reviews

Duh!

By Jorg G. Kitchen "Jorg Kitchen"
Okay, I don’t often feel compelled to comment on reviews but I have to this time. The 1 star review irks me and here is why. If you are an IT professional or anyone else for that matter and you receive a product that is defective or does not work you put the item back in the box and return it immediately instead of writing a poor excuse for a review. Sometimes things don’t quite work out the way they should but I have found that Amazon does do their best to address any issues as quickly as possible. They will send you a new return shipping by email or regular mail and they will even waive the shipping charges and refund them to you. When things like this happen that is just life and with a little patience and understanding as well as a little courtesy these things can be quite easily resolved. Amazon Staff do a very good job with customer service and resolving any issues. Thanks Amazon

IPAD not in the same universe!

I am happy to report that after purchasing the NAV 9, it has surpassed my expectations! While some may bemoan its thickness, it has the IPAD beat in so many areas…there is no comparison! The thickness is necessary since the NAV 9 has a cooling fan which the IPAD does not! The NAV 9 has 3 USB ports, the IPAD does not! The NAV 9 is a computer the IPAD isn’t! This was by far the best purchase I have made in 2010! Everyone that has seen it has commented favorably about it and several are in the process of ordering it! If you want a serious computer for college classroom environment, business meetings, just kick around at home, this is it! The virtual keyboard works fine but I bought a keyboard case for an Android from China for about $30 that makes this product unbeatable! Get in line because this technology (slate) will replace laptops in the next 2-3 years!

nav 9 for speed

By robert byerley
You will be surprised at the speed of this. It boots so fast,I am sure its part to do with the ssd drive it is great.I use it in my motorhome for email and on line work.I have wireless mouse I use with it sometimes or both the screen and the mouse.I wish people would stop compareing this to a Ipad.Ipad will not do what this will do.If what you want is a lot of apps to do simple task, buy a Ipad . This will run around a Ipad and give it change. This is a computer!!!

awesome while it lasted

I had my Nav9 two weeks before it was stolen one week ago today. For the two weeks I had it, it was totally awesome! While I don’t have the funding to replace my stolen Nav9 (sad face) at this time, I hope to be able to save up for a replacement in the future. I would and did recommend the Nav9 to many friends a co-workers looking for a tablet that would be more condusive to grad school than the iPAD2 and its limiting competitors as we have the requirement to load programs on our tablets.
